Mre. Be H. Martin, 604 Quapaw, Hot Springs, who is the owner of
the house oecupied by Galataa, advieed that she has been unable to obtain
any information as to the whereabouts or possible date of return of Galates,
although she has communiceted by telephone with persons known to be friendly
with him, She advised that her first information as to the absence of
thia family came from a painter who had been doing some vork on the house
for her, who reported that some of the windows were open end the Frigidaire
was runnings She called Mett Picchi at the White Front and was advised
that he had remedied the situstiong She advised that she does not have

It ia noted thet she is an elderly lady, the xidow of a prominent
physician, and that ehe advised that her hesitancy in thie matter was dus
to her fear to become involved with these people. She waa only advised
that it was desired to question Calatas. Some general information as to
the history of the relatives of Galatas which was obteined from Lire. Kartin
has been set out above.
It je noted that the mail which has been previously observed by
Agente et Galetas’ home hae been returned to the postoffice at Hot Springs
on the directions of the Postraster. The only additional mail received
since the submiasion of former memoranium ia an advertisement from Gokey's,
dealera in boots for sportsmen, St. Paul, Minnesota, and a copy of the
magazine “Fielé and Stream", Efforts have been made to interview ths .
Poatoffice Inspector st Little Rock relative to mail covers at Hot Springs,
but he bas not been at his office. It has been deemed inadvisable to
arrange for covers through postal officiale at Hot Springs. Efforts in
thie regard will be continued. It was also ascertained that the registered
meil for Galates consisted of a notice from the Masonic Lodge at Hot Springs.
