Property of U.S, Civil Service Commission, This ceport may of the Commission, and It mzy be recalled af any tims, s 4 qd ' H i not be Hansferred t another egoncy without price approval i ' i f / ‘' that tine. [ery ye) nimset was a career military man serving in 6 Per Boc ' the Msrines up until November of 1970 and he returned to this area onb7C Per BoC Po occasionally. Since November of 1970, he has lived with his parents and —_ has been trying to find employment, however, because of the general economic i . ‘conditions and lack of work in the area, he has not obtained a permanent Job or has not done any temporary work to my knowledge. [impresses me as being a person vho is sincerely interested in othePS Per BoC ' people. I am an older woman and because he was not working, helyP7o Per Boc Sf me put up my Christmas lights on e outside of the house. He has also | ; very willing to be of assistance. He scexs to be a rather easy-going } person who is-nature and-erotionally stable. ZX have never seen him use ‘ ’ any alcoholic beverages. He does not seem to be the type of individual who would need any personality supplements in the way of drugs, narcotics, i or LSD. I believe that he would be decisive in a critical or stress i yf situation and be able to handle any emergency that arose. I think his vs Judgsent is sound and he is mature enough to make logical independent or | " , conclusions to any problem that arose. However, I have had no close ‘ . association with him because of his extended military service and up until November of 1970, had only seen him casually. As I understand it, he has progressed in responsible positions in the military but any know- ledge I have of this is by secondhand information and would only be hearsay. | , My general impression off sds that he would deal effectivelsb6 Per Boc te \ a with people on all levels. He has had militory service so I am sure {b7C Per BoC mt he would be able to use regulations connected with any job he was assigned Poot to, be able to follow instructions and to interpret them correctly. When ZI have takked to him out in the yard and when he has come over to my house to offer his help, he has always presented his viewpoints clearly and concisely. It is my understanding that he has applied for a sensitive position with the Governnent. I feel that knowing specific examples of his experience, ‘ resourcefulness, good judgzent, and ability to use tact and discretion ' ; in whatever his job was in could not be known by me vecause of my limited so 7 knowledge about him. However, generally he impresses me as being a very i 4 fine person, quite levelheaded, and “somewhat of a fine American citizen , because Of bis military background. On this basis only would I recomend him for a position within our Federal Governzent in a very sensitive and 4! cpitical area. at ee - eek , A . ¥ ; ty 4 *, CNB ns Pad 4 - | b6 Per BOC ; b7C Per BOC . .
