The FBI is.aiso im the final stages of preparing an Intelligence Regui rements a and
Collection Management Handbook which addresses reporting thresholds for state,
local, and tribal law enforcement dissemination.

The FBI is currently constructing a web-based customer survey for state and local
law enforcement agencies to leam of their satisfaction level with information and
ihtelhgence disseminated by the FBI. This survey has not yet been distributed, but
1s expected to be in the near future. This feedback report will be part of future
field office pre-inspections to detenmune satisfaction levels.
OLEC reports that, during its two-year existence, the number of complatnt calls
from law enforcement personne! regarding iafotmatsor sharing by the FRY has
steadily decreased. When OLEC personne! attend meetings with law
enforcement, they are often told that there is an increase in cooperation and
information sharme by the FBI. The Director’s Law Enforcement Advisory
Group also reports that it's members have expenenoed a significant unprovement
yh the level of cooperation and information sharing between the FBI and state and
local law enforcement.
ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES
The Committee recognizes that the FBI has made substantial organizational changes as it
reforms its approach to intelligence, to include the establishment of an Exeentive Assistant
Director for Intelligence, an OL, Field Intelligence Groups, and an Office of Law
Enforcement Coordination, among others.
