Medical Officer, Employee and MedicaI Services Section
The EMSS MO is a licensed and board-certified physician in the specialty of psychiatry and
serves as an advisor to the EAU UC. The EMSS MO must:
Consult with the EAU UC to review incidents involving complicated exposures
Participate in after-action meetings with CIP participants.
Provide training to CIP team members to ensure that they are current on clinical practices.

Provide medical recommendations based on degree-of-impact assessments and recovery
goals for both individuals and groups.
2.4.3.
Regional Program Managers
EAP RPMs are responsible for all EAP activities within their regions, including CIP activations
RPMs must:
Ensure team readiness and select CIP TLs and team members based upon the nature of.

Ensure that CIP activations, reports, and training meet or exceed current standards of
clinical practice
Consult with the EAU UC on the selection of event TLs and team members.

Monitor CIP operational quality standards.
Provide daily activity updates to the EAU UC and the MO during CIP activations

Ensure that FBIHQ division or FO EAP personnel provide employees with effective
education concerning suicide awareness, resiliency, and the prevention of excessive
stress.
