Patrick, MD. As you know, beginning on August 28, 2002, the Health Alliance was informed of these dubious residencies. More than a year hss passed since then. It is anclear whether any action has been taken besides moving Dr. Patrick's file from Jewish Hospital to the Health Alliance.. Since the Health Alliance wns informed Iast year: 1.Jewish Hospital continues to verify that Dr.Patrick completed a full calendar year Surgery I residency. Evideace indicates that this residency may be fraudulent. Dr. Patrick's only connection to Jewish Hospital was thst he was collecting research. data for a National Science Foundation engineering grant. Nevertheless, the surgery. residency has been verified by Jewish Hospital since 1976, allowing Patrick to obtain medical licenses in multiple states. This claimed residency may also have been used by Dr. Patrick to obtain board certification by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. 2. Another edition of the American Board of Medical Specialties directory has been published and Dr. Patrick's entry continues to list a non existent two-year University of Cincinnati Emergency Medicine residency.. Of additional concera are two affidavits signed by Drs. Henry J. Heimlich and. b6 dated November 5, 1976. As you are aware, these affidavits were. b7C provided to the State Medical Board of Ohio and allowed Dr. Patrick to obtain his Ohio state medical license, which he hss maintained since 1976. Jewish Hospital also. verified Patrick's residency to the American Medical Association, a primary verification source.
