Details: For information of Chicago Division, on 02/22/2005, Chicago Division's Violent Crime Task Force (vctF) was notified of threatening telephone calls received by Congressman Bobby b6 Rush's Chicago Office. Approximately 12 messages were left on b7C Rush's Chicago Office's voicemail between 02/20/2005 and 02/21/2o05 by an individual that identified himself as the captioned subject, aka l On 02/22/2005 Rush's office received another call from who told one of Rush's employees, "I'm I'm coming down here to kill Bobby Rush. and all the bitches in his office". While members of Chicago Division's vcTF were conducting interviews at Rush's office, regarding the threatening telephone calls, called the office two times and spoke with. an employee of Rush's office. While listening to the conversation, members of the vcTF were able to confirm that was calling from the psychiatric ward within Northwestern Hospital (Stone Pavilion). Upon conclusion of the interviews conducted at Rush's office, members of the vcTF proceeded to Northwestern Hospital, located at 333 East Superior Street in Chicago. Once at the psychiatric ward, it was confirmed that had checked himself into the ward on 02/18/2oo5 for treatment.
