To: Chicago From: Chicago Re: 89B-CG-111622, 03/02/2005 privileges and outgoing mail privilege due to past letters had sent Rush's office. It was determined that posed no threat to Rush or psychiatric ward and would remain under close supervision for the foreseeable future. The hospital agreed to notify Chicago Division, should be unexpectedly released. An interview was attempted of however, was quickly terminated when it was determined that was not cognizant of the circumstances. Rush's office was re-contacted and notified of location and advised that he would be under supervision for the foreseeable future. Capitol Hill Police Officer, (telephone number was telephonically notified of the results of the investigation. Officer is responsible. for Rush's security detail while Congressman Rush is in the Washington, D.C. area. b6 Supervisory AusA Northern District of b7C Illinois, was notified of the threatening telephone calls. After being provided with the details of the investigation, being advised that charges have been declined in the past, and being advised that. was found mentally incompetent to stand trial in the past, AusA declined prosecution. Chicago Division considers this matter closed. Any future contact with will be documented and submitted to this case file.. ++ 2
