Mrs. IcIs Moock, Administrative Officer, NSC, advised that her files contain no.additional oertinent information concerning HENRy A. KIssENGER. Hir. MELyIN LAIRD, Counsellor to the President for Domestic Affairs, advised tlet he has known HeNRy KIsseNGeR on a professional basis for aoproxinately ten years. He has worked most closely with KissENGek during the Nixcn Adainistration. He has the highest regard and confidence in the appointee's ability and hs.s no question has met the appointee socially many times and has attended many p.irties given by KesseNGek. He has never heurd or observed enything which he considers unfavorable concerning the appointee and again has no hesitotion in recourending hin. Mr. LARDnoted that he himself had recomaended ir.
