Bureau of the Police Department, and requested their assistance in this matter, and they stated they would have a cruiser sent around to assist. ~ I then advised the individual at the Detective Bureeu that the party they were bringing through was Frank Nash, a notorious figure, an a escaped Federal convict, end a bad man, and they replied that in view of this - fact, they would send the two men on what they termed the “hot shot", ar riot — car, The men on this car are supposed to be the beat, and are sent cut in case of serious trouble, equipped with machine guns, etc., so that in reality, while Mr, Reppert might not have known that Frark Nash was coming through, the Detective ‘ Division did, and as a result, the “hot shot” car was sent eround, and not an - ordinary cruiser.
