Ske steted that after she left Joplin, Missouri, en June 14, .
1955, for Venona, Illinois, she went through Chicago, and upon
arrival there she called the residence of Louis Stacey and
talked to Bis wife, Helen, and got a brother of Lonte Stacey,
whose nam is Johnney, to drive her from Chicago to Wemonas
_ Fhese cirounstances are related to show thet Louie Stacey is
and bas been intimately acquainted with Frank Hash end Vernon Miller, his
statements to the eontrery notwi thetanding.
She enid that she went several times with Frank Rash to a Road
House or elub by the name of Rivermore, located at 22nd and
Firet Avenue, Riverside (probably ea suburb of Chicago), and
which ie operated by a man by the name of Charlie Luebeker, and
that Vernon and Vi and Lillien Holden accompanied them to this
point, and that all were well known theres ,
Mra. Nash said that when Dick Galetas came to the Tourist Camp ©
for her in the afternoon of June 16, 1935, following the pick-
uw of Frank Naak, and when he took her away, he stopped enroute
to his hove bear the reilroad station and went in eitber to the
jail or the Folice Station, saying that he was going to see a
Judge who bad much influence in Hot Springs; that after going
in the Police Station or jail Gelatas came out and contacted a
"man who appeared to have an office in the back of a berber shop,
and who supposedly wee the Judge in question. That Galetes brought
thie man out to the ear and she overhearé the conversation between
them, and that she heard Galatas tell this man that one of his
*good boya" had been picked up, end thet the man appearing to be
the judge said he would eee what he could do about it. Thereafter
Galatea took her to his bame and wery shortly he took her to an
epartment where she made same telephone calls = one to the 0 F
Inn at Melrose Perk, Illincia, and the other to the residence of
Eetber Farmer at Jopling She said that Galetes told ber thet Frank
Nash hed told hin, Galatas, that if anything should ever happen to
hin that "Poc* Stacey at the 0 P Inn ahould be called. Mra. Nash
eaid that Frank Naeh had told her the same thinge She anid that
when Galatas told her to eall Doc Stacey that he gave her the
number Cary 65, at which Frenk Kash told him that Stacey could
be reached. She said that ehe then told Galetas that the place
to get in touch with Stecey was at the 0 P Inn, whereupon she called
it, She said tkat before leaving Hot Springs that afternoon for
Joplin that Galatas told ber he had obteined information from some
eotres, she thinks from the Police Department, thet Frank Nast was
to be taken to Joplin, Miesourie She said also that when she was
discussing going to Joplin witb Galates he told her thet probably
Rerbert Farmer would have connections there. She recited that
Gelates told her that: immediately after Frank Nash ws picked up
in Hot Springs a sar left frax the White Front in pursuit of the
machine the officers were using, but that thia car out distanced the
