wife of Frank B. Mulloy, 14 West 56th Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri,
Copies of the photograph of Vivian Matthews has aleo been furnished to

On July £1, 1933, Frank B. Mulloy was again interviewed at the Kansas
City office by Special agents Turrou and Brantley, and at that time made
the foJlowing etatement, in addition to the one mentioned in reference
report, as reflected in’ @ memorandum by those Agents.
“On July 21, 1933, Frank B. Mulloy, alias Fritz Mulloy, was interviewed
at the Kaneas City Bureau office by Special agente L. G. Purrou and
Dwight Brantley. He was questioned concerning a telephone call receiv
ed by him at Jackson 0702 during the evening of June 16, 1933. He
stated that Jackson 9702 ie the telephone number at 85th Tavern, locat
at 65th Street and Wornell Road, Kansas City, Missouri, which ie an
eating house, and in which he at one time had an interest. He said
that his recollection af this call is that someone of the walters o
there anewered the telephone and was informed thet the party on the sire
wanted to speak to him, Mulloy; that he answered the telephone and fhe —
person talking asked him the telephone numter of Verne Mason; that he
gave this number ae Jacksam 7078S. Mulloy said that be is not ccifoct

ehether the party calling gave any name, but be has a faint recollection
that the person said he wes *Doc,* :

Mulloy was asked how a person in Chicago wuld know bis name and tele-
phone number and be explained i¢ by saying he supposes timt Verne
furnished the party with the number, yf
Mulley denied knoving of such & place as the 0. P. Inn in Chi cage or
enyone in any manner connected with 1t. . oa
Mulloy was questioned concerning a telephone call he received fron : aN ice
Chicago on June 20, 1933, allegedly pleced by one Bloom. He atated that”
he knowe no individual by that name in Chicago. He was then asked if «2
some person by the name of Welkey or Warren might place euch a call end: ie
explained that he does know Driffiarren, whose correct name is Walker, - 2°
and that he met this individual while in Leavenvorth Penitentiary. Ee
stated that the call on June 29, 1953 related to a whiskey transaction.
