after returning from Galveston I interviewed He C. Howell ve i at his residence, 710 East 1001/2 Street, Houston, where Fred Kohur was present, visiting Howell. Mr. Howell stated that Mr. Harrell gave him the story on June 11th when be was visiting et his house, and that he in turn informed Fred Kohut about what -Harre}} had related to him, Bowell stated thet at time Harrell ~_ informed him anout the matter, he firmly believed that he was telling him the truth, but Harrell then told him he could not show him the gun as he had it in his baggage, which he had checked. _ thru to Galveston.
