Wanted Notices Flaced for IOPC Tn those instances in which notations are made in the Identification Division files in favor of the ICPC at that organization's snecific request + for information repvarding the wanted subject, it is & lieved the “location — notice" should be posted instead of a "wanted notice." This system will permit the automatic cancellations of the notice when information is received regarding the subject's whereabouts, Jt would also avoid the necessity for cablecraphic communication with the IcPC in the event the subject is found, a system which would be autmatically followed in the event a "wanted notice" was placed. RECO EIENDATIONS ¢ It is recomnended thats 1. ICPC requests for any available information will be referred to the Foreim Liaison Desk by the Identification Division after a search of the Identification records in order that the Bureau's files may be checked and a reply prepared. . , lh. When a specific request for the placement for a wanted notice is receivee fron the ICPC, the follorcing notation will be placed on the subject's identification record; "LOCATION DESIRED by International.
