JCE G.{DCBBS, member Executive Committee is considered one cf most dangerous ecumumist in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and is on custodial detention list | ef this office. Schocl first started out as community center but gradually eharnged to labor education. Unsuccessfully attempted to.establish a similar schcol at Allardt, Tennessee, about 1934, Succeaded in organizing the Worker's !t"$anee which flourished for a while in Grundy County but broke up after an Comiuttes in February 1939, School unpopular in local ecmmunity and has reputation of | being communisti¢. Unpopularity based partly on report cf drinking and suspect- ed loose morals that occur at dances sponsored by the school, and local preju- iec against labor activities of school.
