According to a reliable source, Helen Keller was &
sponsor of the Indeper. dent Citizens Committee of the Arts,
Sciences and Frofossicns (Now York City) in December, 194k.
Helen Keller was listed as one of tue speakers at a rally at
Madison Square Gardens in Now York City on December lh, 1945,
whieh was sponsored by the Indopondent Citizens Committee of
the Arts, Sciences and Professions, Incorporated, which
organization was cited as a communist front by the Special
Committee on Un-American Activities, U. S. House of Representa-=
