CE Avil Pair CATT History and Development — The only known lot of ammunition reported made in this special calibre was produced by Winchester in 1914. The only cases reported or observed are headstamped W.R.A.CO. M A 1914. The cartridge is listed in Win- chester records as “7.65mm Argen- tine Navy Match” and the only re- corded bullet weight and type are as listed above. The cartridge is con- sidered a rare collector's item. In mid- 1963 a single specimen sold for at least $50.00.
