one individual.
March 21, 1978, John William Sherman, Therese
Ann Coupez and a white female who identified herself as
Jori Uhuru, were arrested by Special Agents of the Federal
Bureau of Investigation at Tacoma, Washington.

fingerprints as being Janine Darcy Bertram,
born November 25, 1950 at Tacoma, Washington...
Investigation to date has reflected

Investigation conducted by
Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investi-
gation has determined that Bertram has been
involved in varying degrees ‘with the GJB for
approximately the past two years.

March 23, 1978, Special Agents of the Federal Bureau
of Investigation conducted an authorized search of a residence
at 3601 East Grandview, Tacoma, Washington, which search pro-
vided extensive evidence linking Sherman, Coupez and Bertram
to the GJB.

ro March 28, 1978, a Federal Grand Jury at Seattle,
: Washington returned indictments charging John William
Sherman with violation of Bank Robbery statute and Firearms
violations of a Federal nature. A second indictment was
returned against Sherman, Coupez and Bertram furnishing nine
counts charging the three with Bank Robberies, Possession
