The communique was an original typewritten letter and contained an original rolled thumb print in the lower right hand corner. Below the thumb print was typed the message "JOHN W. SHERMAN 's right thumprint". The letter was addressed to the Automotive Machinists Union, Local 289, 2701 First, Seattle, Washington. Furthermore, it was noted on the communique that copies of the communique had been sent to (1) BBC Dodge, (2) JOHN REED, Special Agent in Charge, FBI, Seattle, (3) King County Automobile Dealers Association and (4) KOMO TV News. borin hatennne: Rie: bic advised that he received the communique from a representative of the Automobile Machinists Union, Local : 289, 2701 First, Seattle, Washington, on October 18, 1977. - The communique had been delivered in an envelope marked "special delivery" and was postmarked October 17, 1977, at Seattle, Washington. Also contained in the envelope was a copy of another typewritten George Jackson Brigade communique entitled "BUST THE BOSSES, George Jackson Brigade Communique" and signed, "Love and Struggle, The George Jackson Brigade, October 12, 1977".
