Bureau memo dated 4/17/63 stated that the Atlanta Office
had advised that on 4/17/63 Mrs. Martin Luther King, Jr., Harry
Belafonte and Mrs. Ralph Abernathy had reservations on Delta Flight
631 from Atlanta to Birmingham. '
The Birminghan PD had furnished information that a group
of Negroes were to meet on above date at the 16th St. Baptist Church
to discuss voter registration matters and thereafter march on City
Halli.

which revealed that the Women's Strike for Peace (WSP) (62-107350)

accomplishments of this conference and indicated that a committee
from WSP would consider a woman for President in 1964. Suggested
candidates were Dagmar Wilson for President and Mrs. Martin Luther
King for Vice-President. .
