The reports state that Ssllek has also been arrested for another Prohibition “a violation, in 1928, for which he is now cn bond for anpecrance in . Federal Court at Denver, Colorado. a Reports from Birmingham, Alabama, detcd November 21, a indicate that the Chattsnooge Police end law enforcement officicls 4 are using every possible means to discourage the march. ‘ Reports from Chiengo cuted November 21, 1932, st-te thot it is expected that 15,000 persons will participate in the National Hunger March. Column 1, which left Seattle November 15, was . exp.cted to pass throuch Milwaukee November 22, Cnicago November 272, a South Rend, November 25, and Kalamazoo November 26, joining Colusn 4 Y= in Pittcburgh on December 1 and arriving in Washington December 4. a These reports set out approximete figures, "which shoulc be a considered as 2 minimum cecording to stop over tovns with joining points: "Column 1, Chicago - with Rockford, Defalb, Taukegan, South Chicaso, Chicuse Heights, Reseland, etc., meet— ing either in Chicago or as march passes throug heir toms, Delegates as follows: Chicago 200, Reckford 10; all others between 1 and 5, depending upon misc busis of elections, complisnce, equipment and Pinancial arrcnge- ments. "South Bend - with Harbor, Whiting, Hammond, Gary, LaPorte, Elkhart, Goshen, Fort Wayne, etc., with a total of 70 delerates to be distributed on heasis of immcdiate action of Party throveh fractions in unemployed councils.
