tions, had left two telephone numbers, one of which was his home phone and

Prior to departing for New York, BRECHT had obtainsd a travel permit
from the United States Attorney at Los angcles, in whick he stated that he de-
sired te remsin in New York fer about eight weeks on theater business. Ee
