Majority of carpet manufactured in the above category was determined to be within the 25-ounce to 35-ounce per square yard pile weight category. Cut pile carpeting as furnished in Williams" sample was of a small production category, and those listed in the carpet production control specifications did not compare to specifications listed of Williams' carpet obtained from his residence. Jute secondary backing was used extensively by Magee Carpet Company in the 7-ounce, 9-ounce and 10-ounce per square yard weight. He indicated that Magee Carpet Company, on most occasions, utilized 9-ounce or 10-ounce jute backing as the secondary backing in the manufacture of their carpeting.
