Senator McCARTHI statod that the Grand Jury which failed to indict Service in this case, was investigated by the House Cammittee which reported that they woald not take any action against the Crand Jury due to the fact that documents which were necessary far prosecution could not be relied upon as evidence due to the fact that it was believed if these were offered in evidence, that a motion by the defense to suppress them would be sustained due to the manner. in which the documents ware obtained by the Federal Bureau of In-. vestigation. Ths suppression of these documents would hinge on the. Idefendants attacking the warrants of arrest. He also advised that Professor Schuuan is a Consultant whose services are utilised as an expert on Far Eastarn affairs. He stated that Professar Schuuan is undoubtodly not on the pay roll today but say bs at any time that. his services are necessary. He identified Professar schuuan as being active in nunerous front organisations as sponsor, member ar. affiliated with them. He also advised that Professor SChuaN was considered to be one of ths untouchables at the State Departmant who deterained, forced through and carried out the policies of the State Departmant..
