4.2.1.
Prineipal Relief Superyisor Awards
An FBI enployee who has been officially designated as the PRs for at least six months is.
eligible for a PRS award. The recommending official must state in the submitting.
communication that the employee has, on his or her last performance rating of record. at least
"Successful(on a PAR) or "Consistent Performer (on a Performance Wrap-Up) in all of his or
her duties and the dates in which the PRs has served as acting supervisor. The FBIHQ division
or FO head (or designee) must personally endorse the recommendation. A qualified employee
must only receive this particular award once in a 12-month period; however, the same individual
may be recognized during subsequent 12-month periods if all qualifications continue to be met.
FBIHQ division or FO heads are authorized to grant PRS awards in any increment up to $1000.
The nomination must be received within 60 days following the conclusion of the PRS.

Special Act/Achievement Awards
Specia! Act/Achievement Awards allow supervisors to recognize employees for performances
that substantially exceed job performance standards. These awards can recognize individuals of
groups for a single act or aecomplishment. The justitication provided by the nominating FBiHQ.
division or FO should address the type of accomplishment, associated duties and responsibilities
and the overall impact of the accomplishment.
