Dr. Lilly was also to be questioned as to who in the Defense Department had told him that the FBI had made an error and also whether or not Mr. Baird had been advised of the allegations. RECOMMENDATION: That the attached radiogram reiterating instructions to San Juan concerning. interview with Dr. Lilly and directing San Juan to inform Dr. Lilly that unless he furnishes the identity of his source our files will reflect his lack of cooperation, be approved and forwarded.
