a CO FD-302 (REV. 3-10-82) i, e :FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION 1/2/92 Date of transcription, JANLA D. CARR, date of birth, January 23, 1952, was contacted at the Pittsburgh Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She was advised of the identities of the interviewing Agents and the nature of the interview. She then provided the following information: CARR indicated that she first callea[ ————Si inn b6 Seattle in September 1990. The purpose of her contact was to b7C provide information concerning TED BUNDY and his involvement in several homicides. CARR proceeded. to relate a number of contacts she claimed. to have had with TED BUNDY. CARR recalled that when she was two years old, she and her father, THOMAS CARR, went to Mellon Park in pittsburgh. A woman whom CARR called "the gray lady" came looking for CARR’s father. CARR had seen the gray lady, whom she subsequently identified as LOUISE BUNDY, a number of times at Mellon Park. LOUISE approached CARR’S father with her son TEDDY. CARR’s father acted in a rude and revolting manner towards LOUISE. CARR recalled that LOUISE said to THOMAS CARR, "Your son. Your son." TEDDY asked JANLA why her father was so mean. On another occasion, LOUISE BUNDY came to the CARR home and ‘burst in on with the claim that THOMAS CARR fathered her son. CARR recalled that her father acted abusive to bé6 her and[___————sd and’ said that the woman (LOUISE BUNDY) was BIC crazy. CARR indicated that since she would not be able to recall this occurrence. A couple of years later, JANLA went to West Park, located in the North Side section of Pittsburgh, with her father. On this occasion, JANLA was instructed by her father to say his name was NELSON. JANLA asked him what first name she was to use for him, and he told her to refer to him as LLOYD. ‘He told JANLA that she must obey him. At West Park, CARR and her father encountered LOUISE BUNDY and her son. LOUISE was dressed in gray and had a big mole on her ‘cheek. She had a large black car with fins. THOMAS CARR introduced LOUISE to JANLA as "Aunt ELEANOR." Investigationon _ 8/5/91 at Pittsburgh, PA __.
