DRAPER — Convicted kidnaper Theodore R.
‘Bundy, 30. a former University of Utah law student,
had his parole hearing Wednesday continued by the
Utah State Board of Pardons. :
Bundy is serving 1 to 15 years for the aggravated
kidnaping of Carol DaRonch on Nov. 8, 1974 at the
Fashion Place Mall in Murray. The board continued
his hearing until the Utah Supreme Court éan act
ujjon an appeal he has before that tribunal. \

Miss DaRonch managed to ‘escape during the “
kidnaper’s attempt to handcuff on her. 6
Bundy also is facing possible extradition to
Colorado which wants to try him for the slaying of a
nurse in Aspen.
The board revoked the parole of John, Charles
Wilks, 31, Kearns, and continued a parole revocation |
hearing until Feb. 2, .
Wilks was paroled Aug. 10, 1976, after serving a
. portion of a five-year-to-life sentence for shooting
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Charles D. Warren in -
Springville on Sept. 2, 1969. Trooper Warren was not
- Killed but was foreed to retire from the highway
patrol because of head wounds. {
Receiving a parole on July 12, 1977, will be William
W. Wellwood, 33, Southgate, Mich., who has served
five years of a five-year-to-life sentence for the Oct.
15, 1971, robbery of La Castia Cafe in Salt Lake City.
