had been contacted by representatives of the Civil Rights
Division concerning captioned inquiry. Their client was
not advised that he was a subject of the investigation,
but was informed that he would be asxed to sign a waiver
of rights. They said SA fas visibly upset and
emotionally disturbed by this whole incident, particularly
as it pertains to his future in the FBI. Their contact
with LCD was to obtain « blanket commitment from the
Bureau that no administrative action would be t uken against

Department . ney advised that at this time they had not

mit their eclicnt to cooperate with the Department or to
