SYNOPSIS: LiX-[/ULC-AM Referenced memorandum reports . a discussion with Departmental Attorney Gardner as to whether or not all Bureau field offices should be instructed to review their symbol number indexes for evidence of entry activities. On 7/8/16 ,/ Ay] Mr. Gardner advised he would consider the Bureau's proposed survey; on 7/9/76, Mr. Gardner advised he had no objection to the survey. Mr. Gardner asked that he be furnished a copy of the communication being sent to the field, and a [copy of the survey results.
