Richardson to the Bureau's letter to the Civil Service Commission advising then of the termination and the fact that the investigation had been discontinued. We will also point out to Mr. Richardson that a recent check of the records of the Civil Service Commission fails to reflect that either of these two individuals is Presently employed in the Euoscutive Branch of the Federal Government. In so far as the two capes are concerned where we have presently peniing full field loyalty investigations, we will advise lf. Richardson that this js the case and that he will be furnished the reports reflecting the resulte of these investigations in the immediate future. 4s set forth in the attached tabulation, 14 of the cases have been investigated under the provisions of Public Law 402, 80th Congress (Voice of America Program). We will point out this fact to Mr. Richardson, advise him of those instances where the Commission already has copies of the investigative reports and further advise him that in the other cases, copies of the investi~ gative reports under the Voice of America Program are being sent to hin immediately under separate cover. It will be pointed out to Mr. Richardson that copies of the reports in all of these Veice of America cases have been previously, fumished to the State Department. ~ - Yéu will note that one of the cases has been investigated under the European Recovery Program. Howé¥er, copies of the reports reflecting the results: of this investigation were sent to the Civil Service Comission for considarati under the Loyalty Program and, in fact, we have # disposition from the ty Review Board showing that the case was considered under the Loyalty Program ani that the individual involved was retained, Mr. Richardson will be referred to the Bureau's letter furnishing copies of the reports in this case te the Civil Service Comission for consideration under the Loyalty Program.
