On 10/10/2002, FBiHQ granted authority for
captioned investigation to be designated a Major Case with
Baltimore Division designated as the office of origin. All field
offices and/or Legats involved in this investigation should title
the investigation as designated above. Additionally, all.
manpower expended during this investigation should be recorded to
Keeping (ruRk) (reference MAop, Part II, Section 3-3.2).
Details:
By way of background, between 10/02/2002 and
Maryland-virginia and Washington, D.C. area. 'These attacks
resulted in ten fatalities and two victims being critically
injured. The most recent victim was a woman who was shot in the
parking lot of a Home Depot store in Falls Church, Virginia.
ATF Scientists have determined that bullet fragments
from six crime scenes are the same caliber. A .223 shell casing,
