deemed as a “reliable source”. It entailed a report that someone may be a
witness in this event. The subject apparently works at McDonald’s (Rt. 50
& Patrick Henry) and viewed a suspicious individual pull into the lot with
his lights off. This person ordered coffee and left. The individual
appeared to be crazed. Note: The ICF indicates that a plate number
was obtained but, no registration data was noted as of 10/21/02. Pe

2a. 9:00 p.m.): Source left Home Depot app. ten minutes pic
before the shooting. She saw a similar Astro-type van in that area. Also on _ Pm
that date, she said a. Middle Eastern man claiming to be a police officer,
was interviewing witnesses and then talking in a foreign language on his
cell phone. On-10/15/02, she saw the same man being interviewed .
(wearing blue Old Navy cap) on TV-4, who now claimed to be a “witness”
to the shooting. Source thought man may be an imposter getting
information for an associate. Possibly on Home Depot
security/television news tapes?
3) Lapp. 9:20 p.m.): Source’ Mom lives in apartment building to
the rear of Home Depot. She viewed a dark colored vehicle speed into
_ the lot, stop and pick someone up, and speed away. This lot is in line
of sight of this witness. Lead set on 10/16/02.

they were forced to swerve into their driveway. A vehicle came at
them rapidly. It was described as a new modeled white van, with a
ladder on top of a rack on the roof/passenger side. The van was
“shiny white,” with no doors/windows seen on the passenger side.
The van had no exterior markings/writings. The speed of the van
was believed to be over 100 MPH as it moved north on Wayne Rd. It
was believed to be a Chevy/GMC product, with two rear windows.
The vehicle sped away north on Wayne to Rt. 50 (unknown direction).
