The Registrar of Voters, Alameda County,
. California, in October, 1972, advised that the BPP had fur-
nished 105 out of 145 Deputy Registrars to work in the
voter registration just recently closed. 4
. The United States Circuit Court of Appeals, in a
decision rendered in a case involving a member of the BPP,
Gated June 30, 1972, ealled the BPP "a dissident political
party". —
Chairman Bobby Seale was featured ina five part
statement in San Francisco radio station KCBS heginning
August 7, 1972. This series featured the “evolution® of the
BPP from a revolutionary organization to one working within
the system, under the first two paragraphs of the
Declaration of Independence.
The prime interest in "The Black Panther" issue of
November 4, 1972, was a printed guide to the California
residents on how to vote on the various state propositions. -
