Dear Sir: Osage Murder Case
Receipt is acknowledged of Bureau letter dated...
July 12th, 1929, referring to my communicetion of May 27th
last, relating to charges made against officials of the De-
partment who were instrumental in the prosecution of Subject
Hale.
Special Agent Frank 5S. Smith of this office hes
conferred with United States Attorney Roy St. Lewis, Okla-
homa City, relative to this matter, and he has stated that
United States Attorney Goldesberry, Assistent Attorney General
Leahy and himself have replied to the charges made against them
to the Attorney General ani that he does not desire any further
investigation at this time.
