There was a tiny white light behind which did not seem to be att- ached to the object in any way; but as the night was very dark, she admits that this could also have been a star. The colored lights were not blinking, and the object seemed not to move, although she of course was moving towards it in her car. She described the object (which, she admits, she saw very indistinctly in the almost complete darkness), as a black wing- like thing which made no noise. Then she suddenly thought ’’Surely it can’t be a plane, this low. Per- haps it is a flying saucer’. The size of the 2 colored lights was small, about the size of ordinary car blinker-lights. If the witness had stopped to investig- ate, this could have been a most important sighting. Unfortunately, she preferred to continue on her way, and thus lost a great opportunity. Thursday April 13th around 8.15 p.m., Victoria’s lights suddenly all dimmed for a couple of seconds, and at that moment, witnesses in town chanced to see a colored object streak across the sky. The Press tried to ’explain’ this dimming to lightning up at Campbell River, some 200 miles away: this, how- ever, would seem unconvincing, in view of the num- erous past cases where a certain type of UFO has repeatedly caused the dimming, and indeed the blackout, of electric lights in widely separated areas. It is also well-known to researchers that other types of UFO’s do not affect electrical installation: on the other hand, it is possible that all UFO’s may have the ability to affect such installations, or to refrain from doing so, at will. This photograph of a strange space object was taken by Dr. Jose A. Lanuza, professor at the Sorbonne in Paris and at the Autonomous National University of Mexico, when he travelled aboard an airplane of the Compafiia Mexicana de Aviacion from Mexico City to Guadalajara.’ (— It will be rememb- ered by some readers that many times George Adam- ski spoke of a saucer base in the mountains around Guadalajara. — Ed.) Nr. 2. Dr. Lanuza was able to take this picture above the Valley of Mexico. It shows in our sky the presence of another flying object. It is of a circular shape and has in its upper part a transparent dome. The ship seemed to be made of some metal of aluminium color.” Nr. 3. This UFO photo was taken by Dr. Lanuza at a distance of about 100 metres from the machine and only a few metres above the surface of Mexico Valley. Note at the bottom of the picture the power- lines, which give an idea of how low the saucer was. Dr. Lanuza has the negatives in his possession, which have been carefully examined by photo ex- perts, who stated that no fake was involved.” Fe 8 Also in ’7EL HERALDO”’. Flying saucers are seen in clear daylight They were observed near Montevideo. Montevideo (UPI) — Unidentified Flying Objects were observed in this capital in clear daylight, stated the director of the Astronomical Observatory ANTA- RES, Juan Reyes Febles, who succeeded in taking 21 color photos of said objects. He added that from one saucer were ejected into space some smaller objects of the same shape whose colors varied from blue to violet and orange. According to Mr. Reyes and other witnesses’ obs- ervations is was an oval UFO seen at a height of about 6 km to the North of the City. It had an ind- ented rim. One could see a dark dome with a dis- tinctly white rim and one open porthole in the upper part. Finally Reyes said: "It could be proved that it was a "'mothersaucer”’, i.e., a giant space-ship which ejected from its interior other little ships that shot away at a vertiginous speed’. The sighting was made the day before yesterday and lasted for one hour and 40 minutes.” (We should remind readers that this sighting was made from an astronomical observatory, and that an open porthole at a height of 6000 metres or 20,000 feet could well be in view with certain types of telescopes. Whether it was in fact a porthole that was open at that cold height and in that thin air might be a point of conjecture perhaps, but we are not reckoning with terrestrial aircraft here, of course. — Editor.) Translation: Mrs. Dora Bauer, IGAP-AUSTRIA. = Kes »Convincing« UFO pictures SANTA ANA. — A University of Colorado professor conducting a study of unidentified flying objects says that "Photographic evidence of UFOs, when avail- able, is very convincing.” Robert J. Low, project co-ordinator of a Govern- ment-sponsored UFO study, is in Santa Ana to study a controversial 1965 UFO photo previously discredit- ed by the Air Force. Low termed the picture, taken by Rex Heflin of Santa Ana, as "among the top four or five’ items of photographic evidence of UFOs. Heflin, 37, a project inspector for the Orange County Highway Department, took his picture August 3, 1965, just off the Santa Ana freeway. ufo contact 119 that the people should become aware first of his work and contacts. When your readers have become acquainted with the idea of the brothers being under us this very moment and that everyone has the chance to talk to them if he becomes aware of them, then you may talk about my contacts in connection with G.A. The sceptics talk always of people ’’making a fast buck”. Maybe they are right about some. But not about the Stecklings or Madeleine. They are losing money fast, but they are doing the job that George Adamski left them to do, with steadfastness and cou- rage. What is the lesson from this? First, — you will make up your own minds as to the truth of their stories, — as George Adamski said so often: "I’m not here to convince you, — just to tell you.” Second, — you are invited to look again at the picture which is painted for you in these sequences of events. GEORGE ADAMSKI took his story and his films to ANYONE - including authority — and was prepared to face all criticism and expert analysis. MADELEINE RODEFFER was enabled to take close- up shots of a flying saucer over her garden. This was arranged with the Brothers, and she was expect- ing them. She has shown this film, with G.A.’s, on nation-wide net-works, — she has faced the officials on Capitol Hill. She has met the Brothers. FRED STECKLING has taken a unique movie-film which has impressed NASA’s photographic experts and the men at the Pentagon. He has met the Brothers. Can it be CO-INCIDENCE all the time? Can they FAKE unique and impressive evidence ALL THE TIME? At this point | might add that whilst George Adam- ski was on his 1959 world-tour, many separate witn- esses in Australia and New Zealand reported activit- ies and formations of saucers over some of the very cities and towns where G.A. lectured.
