The nanes of Volney Devise end Ferry Campbell entered this
investigetion for tne first time wien mentioned in tus report of Epecial
égent Treinor. The otuers, of course, iave been kept in mind throuzhout
tris investigetion, and I have been edvised by ir. Coffey of the Identi-
fication Unit that wented notices were pleced on ell of these individuels
on Januzry 19, 1934, pursuant to the request of the Kenses City Office ~-*
in a letter dated Januery 13, 1934. mo
The only evidence in porsession of the Division et this -
time indiceting the presence of the Barkers or Karois et Kensas City _
on June 17, 1933 is the stetement made by the informent now serving a.
life sentence in the Kenses State Penitentiery. Tneir photogrepha
heve been viewed by witnesses in this case without being even pertially |
identified.
