Howle further stated that years ago Floyd lived and worked North of Electra, Tezas and is well known in that vicinity. He stated he wrote to the Division at Washington with a view of getting sane cocperation in capturing Floyd at Wichita Falls, ae he feele that the job cannot be accomplished by the Sheriff's department and Police depart- ment, both of whom are not sufficiently equipped with modern guns, etc., to combat Floyd. The local officiala at Wichita Falls were apprised of the report that Floyd comes to that city and they are cooperating with the Dallas Division office in an effort to bring about the apprehension of Floyd.
