IN RE: VERNON C. MILLER (DECEASED) ETAL
CONSPIRACY TO DELIVER FEDERAL PRISONER
Einédly refer to Division letter of January 31, 1934,
and to reply of Acting Special agent in Charge Me. Ce Spear, -
Kansas City, Missouri, dated February 2, 1924, regarding the.
toncern of the Division in connection with the handling of the...
entitled case. ; nae
There is being transmitted to the Division thie date a
review of the accomplishments of the Division in connection with
thie investigation, which was prepared by me with the aid of
- Special Agents H. E. Andersen and W. F. Trainor. JI am inclined |
“ to believe that this digest will be of material aid to the various
Division Offices which have not on file complete data regarding the
; ERK. case. It is also quite possible that it may be of some aid to the
ND ‘Qc. Division in directing the investigation of the ease in the future.
Sh Sai Xt certainly affords even this office a ready reference to the
i> 2 i names and activities of each person prominently mentioned in
Sy , gonnection with the investigation.
It will be noted that from a ‘peview of the digest re-
° aa GE feted, namely - Richard Tallman~Gale tas. The only other person
ao hal for whom process has been issued ia Charles artbur Floyd, a
Codmiesioner'a Warrant having been secured at the instance of the
Oklahoma City Division Office. I am of the impression that in-
vestigation leading to the apprehension of Galatas should have
emphasis at the present time, Of course, investigation should con-
tinue in an effort to bring into cuetody the other four persone
for whom Identification Ordera have been issued but who were not
indicted. I am holding in mind, however, that the Identification
Order hae not been reissued against James Clark. In addition to
