Texas, County Jail, at the time that Bailey mde his escape on September 4,
1933, where he was held under oharges of having kidnaped Charles Fe
Urechel, it being noted that removal papers had been forwarded to Dalles
also for removal on the instant case» Manion was charged with aiding
Bailey in the escape. The evidence reflected that Manion had furnished
Bailey with a gun and saws which Manion had received from Grover ¢. Bevill,
mentioned belows Manion wae indicted at Dallas, Texas, on September 25,
1933, and upon trial in the United States District Court at Dallas, Tezas,
was convicted on October 5, 1933—¢ He waa sentenced to eerve a term of two
years in the United States Ponitentiary at Leavenworth, Kansas, and given
a fine of $10,000e00.
Grover c\Bevil2, In connection with the escape of Harvey Je Bailey at
Dallas, Texas, on September 4, 1933, Bevill was indicted at Dallas, Tezas,
en Septenber 25, 1035, charged with aiding in the escapes The specific
evidence against him was that he had furnished Thomas Manion, mentioned
above, with gune and saws to aid in the escapes. Bevill entered plea of
@iuilty on Octoker 5, 1933, and was sentenced to serve fourteen months in
the United States Penitentiary at Leavenworth, Kansase
George Washington Washe Compleint was filed before the United States -
Comnissioner at ada, Oklahoma, on December 15, 1932, charging that George
Washington Nash concealed an@ harbored Wilber Underhill at dde, Oklahoma,
_ on December 14, 1933. ‘Hash was arrested by an Agent of this Division,
aided by State officers, on December 15, 19335. ata hearing before the
United States Coumissioner at ada, Oklahoma, on December 20, 19335, Nash
was held for the Grand Jury under a $10,000.00 bonds Further details
regarding this prosecution are lacking in the Kansas City office.

those of George Washington Nash, shown above, with the exception that
Huston G. Nash was arrested on December 24, 1935, and the hearing was on
December £6, 1933. This being, of course, in connection with the harboring
of Wilber Underhills
