Gregory then proceeded to twist and jerk Agent McKinley's hand, and then to "tickle® Agent McKinley's hand wi th his forefinger. ; The nonsense stated and acted by Gregory ie being related here in order that the Division may have no doubts as to the mental condition of Gregory. - On January 26, 1934, this office received | two more tele- graeme from Gregory, which are herewith quoted in the order they wore received: “PRETTY BOYD WORKING EASTRADFORD OUT OF PITTSBURGH WIRE ME CARE MALBOURNE HOTEL WHAT LOCATION TO ASSUME" “PRETTY BOYD FLOYD GOING EAST TO CINCINNATI FOLLOW UP WE HAVE GOT JOHN DELLINGER GANG CCME TO MY ASSIS« TANCE GOD BE WITH YOU GREGORY AND WEBSTER OUT OF DURHAM NC REGARDS ANSWER IMMEDIATELY BY WESTERN UNION*. Special Agent W. G. Elliott of this office, who ie now working in the vicinity of Durham, North Carolina, has been 7 acquainted with the contents of the two telegrams above quoted, and instructed to interview Mr. Gregory tactfully and endeavor to | placate him with respect to his efforts to locate Charles Arthur Floyd.
