No one answering Subject's description was seen to enter or leava the hotel, Through aiplonatie {inquiry made among hotel men, it waa ascertained that P. S. Clauzade, the proprietor was considered thoroughly reliable. Conse ently, Agent BE. B. Montgomery secured the hotel register; checked it for eny registration under Subject's true name or aliases known to be used by him, also under the nates of Payd and McFadden, going back to June, 19353. No registration waa found under any of these names. According to the register, transient guests do not average three a day. ; : . v Mr. Clauzada, the proprietor, when shown the photograph of Galatas, was unable to identify it as that of any guest, or anyone known to him, or who had been seen about the hotel.
