to the Bobert Treat Hotel, the cer being followed by the car occupied —
by agent and the chauffeur. It should be noted here that the average
speed maintained by the Lincoln sedan wes between sixty-five and seventy
miles per hour, the trip from Atlentic City to Newark, H.J. being nade

When the party reeched the Robert Treat Hotel, the
doorman of the hotel] removed several bags and the ontire party went
into the hotel. Shortly thereafter, Mr. and Mrs. Buchalter and son
left the hotel without Vivien and her companion. The agent who wae -
covering the hotel at this point felt that Mrs. Allen eas place! for
the time being in the hotel and deemed it advisable to ascertain the
route being taken by the Buchelter car end he accomiingly trailed same
until he felt positive that it was hesded for the Holland funnel ronte
into Hew York City.
Advice es to the route being taken by the Buchalter
car was comsunicated telephonically to the Sew York office of the
Division and several agents endeavored to trail seme from the Hew York
side of the Hollen Tunnel, but efter meinteining the treil for a short
distence dropped eame as it was obvious thet the occupante of the car
were aware of the fact thet they wore being followed.

the photograph of Mre. Allen, identified it es a likeness of the woman
who entered the hotel some time after three e*cloeck on the afterncon of
dugust 7, 1953 with a short, eswerthy man with curly heir. He stated that
he noticed them came in and saw them depart, at which time the man was
Cerrying s piece of luggeze in the nature of a valise trunk of amall size.
fhe photograph of Mrs. Vivien Allen was likewise exhibited
to David Harrison, doorman at the hotel, but he was unable tc meke a positive
identification. He recollected, however, thet on the afternoon of August
7, 1935 he carried a piece of luggsge from the Lincoln sedan to the hotel
