Mulloy also adnitted to Special Agent Turrou tiat he had sent a Western Union money order fran Kanses City, Uissouri to George ¥, Miller, c/o the Arkanses National Bank, Hot Springs, Arkansas, on May 16, 1033, and thet he signed the money order as "V,. Page." That he sent this money order at the request of the paramour of Vernon C. Miller, namely Vivian Metthews., ir. Paul Walker, Chief Clerk, Western Union Telegraph Company, Kansas City, Misscurl, can introdue the original telegraphic money order and check voucher which was cashed with the Seer son OO. of George ¥. Miller at Hot Springs, Arkaneas in the amount of $500.00 .. Gearge W. Iiiller wes an alias used by prismer Frank Nash, end the voucher bearing his signature as George W. Miller cen be identified by a haniwriting expert as thet of Frenk Nash. : . Investigation at Hot Springs, Arkmnsas by Special Agents H. Re Andersen and R. B. Nathan of the United States Bureau of Investigation, to be reached through the Eanses City Office, developed that Galatea, Mre, E. B. Conner, end lirs, Galatas have deperted fran Hot Springs, Arkansas and thorough investigetion by those agents, based upon inquiry through all acquaintances, filed to locate than, For the information of the United States Attomey, the following are the criminal records of subjects Herbert Allen Farmer, Galatas, Miller, Bailey, and Brady, ae based upon fingerprint records of the United States Bureau of Investigation, Washington, D. C. VERNON C. BILLER As Vernon C. Midler, $424, received S D. Pen., Stoux Falls, 8. Ds, 4-4-23 fiom Beadle County; sentence & ~ 10 years, and fine $5200; cherge = Enbezzlanent Public Funda. Indicted Sioux Falls, S. Do, Federei Court 10-20-25; violation National Prohibition Act; bond forfeited. Case nolle prossed 1-17-31.
