Mrs, Nesh and iirs, Parmer both admit this call: was received in their
presence emi was telked on by Gelatas at the Parmer home. It is atated by
Mrs, Nash end Mire, Parmer that Galatas spoke as though he were conversing
with his wife at Hot Springs. Lirs. Nesh stated that after talking on ths
telephone in this instance, Galatas informed all present that there had been |
. @ change in plens of transportation of Nash by the officers. Both Mrs.
Farmer and Ire. Nesh admit that immediately after talking on this cail,
Galatas suggested telephoning “Moore,” (Vernon C. Miller) in Kansas City,
Missouri, which will appear ae call number 7 herein.

Mrs, Parmer, ina signed etatanent to Agents Brantley and Turrou, al-
leged that lirs. Rash placed this call, and Mrs, Nash, ina signed statement
to the same agents, alleged that Mre. Farmer placed it. hrs. Nash, in her
statement, said that the call was suggested by Herbert Allen Farmer, ilirs.
Nash and ltrs, Farmer both edmit that it was talked on in part by Richard
Tallman Gelates, and that he conversed with one “Verns" at Kansas City,
Missouri. lirs. Resh admitted that she elso talked to “Yerne* on thie call, _
and that she told "Verne" the details of the errest of Nash at Hot Springs.
It was admitted by Mra. Nash thet conversation waa hed with “Verne” relative
to the freéing of Nash, but she denied any participation in a plan to
forcibly effect hie release,
