Information having bem received by Agents that after the capture af
Nash, his golf clubs were obtained from the Hot Springs Country Club
7 by a large, Jewish looking individual, inquiry was made of J. ¥. Bood-
y den, located in the pro’s shop at the club. However, it was determin-
ed that the club's records are incomplete, and it was impossible to
a locate a record of Nash, under hie known aliases, having played there.
Photegraphs of suspects were show to Mr. Woodden en! to the locker
room attendant. Mr. Woodden advised that the photograph of Verne Miller
ia familiar, but hemnnot place shere he bes seen him, though he be-
lieves it to bave been in the recent past. He also thought the photo
of Harvey Bailey somewhat familiar. Inquiry was aleo made at the Oak-
lawn Golf Club, a municipal course located in the vicinity of the Oek
Lawn Tourist Court, where Nash lived before his apprehension. Mr. Es
W. Shrader, in the manager's office, examined his records, end he ani
several cacdies examined the photographs, tut could give no heipful
information,
At the Gak Lawn Touriat Court, Mr. Robert dnvoots, desiatant Manager,
was interviewed, and it was determined that Nash registered as
‘George W. Miller and Wife, Lake Park, Illinois. Mr. Anvoots was une
"" able to recognize any of the suspects in the case, or to give any
helpful informtion.
Contact has been had with Informant B at his home. He advised that .
he is of the opinion that Galatas can clear up the whole case, and
will talk when apprehended. He stated that Galatas’ eon unéoubdtedly
knows hie father’s whereabouts, and will probably reveal them if pro-
perly approached. He stated that this boy has been at the University
of alabana for several years, and once brought a girl fran Tuscaloosa,
met Alabama, to viett at Hot Springs. It is possible thet the name of the
girl can be learned, and the boy located through hor if difficulty is
encountered in finding him. Informant suggested that he or someones oe
imown to the boy as a friend of hie father, could undoubtedly ascertain
the desired informatica. /
In conversation with Mr. Williem Brandenburg, former chief of police,
; he advised that he has been recently visited by M. L. Larinore, a oe
police officer at Tulsa, Oklahoma, who advised that in a conversation --.,:.. .

burg stated that Larimore is well acquainted with S. A. G. Colvin at aa
Oklahoma City, apd that he is an entirely honest officer. He sug- we
gested that the Sheriff's office at Tulea is not reliable, Mr. Bran-
denburg also advised that he Ime ascertained that a black Chevrol ot
sedan of Verne Miller's was kept at the Central Garage in Rot Springs,
