Tho telephone of Mra. E. By’ Conner at 1101 Central Avenue is Ho. 2970,
end was installed June 12, 1933, a deposit of $25.00 having been made. In
making application, she stated that her husband was deceased; that she
was renting the property; that she would have about $10.00 monthly in toll
Calls. She gave the following references as to her credit:
Bleanor Harris, (Ladies Shop) Dugan-Stuart Bldg.» Hot Springs
Dr. Foster Jarrell, Medical arts Building,
M. T. Relyea, Mcr., Maurice Baths.
The telephone was removed July 12, 1933, it having been reported to have
been abandoned. No computation has been made by the telephone company
as to any refund which may be due to Mrs. Conner, and no demand has been
made for refund. The address and telephone number of the Kansas City
office was furnished to Mr, Shepard, who premised to advise immediately
should information as to the location of Mrs. Conner be obtained.
an tnspection of the premises of Galatas at 107 Harrell Street was made
by agents, it being determined that no one was at home. It was noteé that
there was considerable mail accumulated in the box, from which the follow-
ing information was noted:
& letter to Mrs. I. M. Galetas, posted et long Beach, California, June 27,
1932, dears return address 524 E. State Street, Long Beach.
& poetecart posted at Los angeles, California, 6-22-35, adéressed to
Mre. Galatas, hes the salutation "Dear Betty,® relates that the writer re-
ceived the clothes, talka about school being soon over, etc. The writer
ealls Betty "Mama" in the body of the car, and it appears to be signed
*Lena,* the signature being somethat illegible.
A letter from the american Tel. and Tel. Co., 195 Broadway, New York, to
Mrs. Elizabeth Galatas, appears to contain check{possibly a dividend
check for stock). -
