for 4 days and then ran off and went home, I asked this other man to take

talked kind of rough. The men J sat at the strike were all local 54 men.
I don't know of anyone else who vas mide to go to the mne, I was not at

"I voted in the first N.L.R.B. clection, I went from home
to the armory, nobody forced mc to go. It was a good honest election
by scerct ballot, I think I voted P.iiin. J never saw any U.N. men noar
the urmory when I went to votc.

won the clection was becausc Elshoff didn’t want P.M.ai. I heard the
roason Elshoff could keep the mine closed was because Jotm Lewis was
paying him, JI heard something about Elshoff opening up the Jefferson
Mire and not being able to makc it so he closed.
