a Written statement as he gave the statement and he corrected the statement
in his omm handrriting as wellas initialed two pages of the statement.
At this point in the intervie al

and made another appointiuent for 6:15 P.M. Septenber 43 to complete
the interview. This latter anpointnent was kept by the intervicring
Agonts at which time stated he had changed his mind about making a
statement, that he knew nothing of interest, and vould not discuss the matter
further, He denied he had been instructed not to make a statement.
The following tvo pages of a Written statement were executed
and witnessed by interviowing Agents.

far as I know, Elshoff got along well with the Uf and the same applies
to his relations vith the PMA from 1932 to 1937 when the mince closed. I
voluntarily joined the P!i, in 1932 at Mine B when that union obtained the
bargaining rightse .
