"Prom the timo I wont to work ot Mine B up until 1932 there was
no trouble between Elshoff and the U.M.7. union. ‘when they had the union
split I liked the Progressives and went along to that Union with the rest
at Mine "B", I did no organising for them. From 1932 ywntil the strike
tlshoff got along fina with F.M.A. there was no trouble of any kind. I
never heard Elshoff or Falsetti say Thoy had any preforance for U.M.,. over
P.MA. I was always satisficd with the P.M.A. local there was no trouble
there at all. I attended o fow P.M.A. moctings at that time. At every
meeting thoy told us how much money had been spent and how much taken in,
I never felt any moncy was being stolen from the union. It was my opinion
that the P.M.A.. men sent to prison for bombings had been framed up. I dont

know who did it. From 1932 until the minc closed I never sow any U.M.7. men
picket Mine "B" or give out any literature thore. I did not know of ony
group in the P.M.A. that wos U.M.W, though belonging to P.M.A. I nevor heard
of any parties given by Elshoff for U.M.u. officials or they for him. —
