The incident is significant in that (a) it would represent a continuation of U.M.W.'s efforts to persécute the Fro_ressive moverent, an effort in which Elshoff apparently is cooperating, and (b) it manifests a recognition on the part of both Edmundson and Eishoff that a union which has a closed- shop contract is justified in requiring the enpleyer to dis- miss an employee who has teen expelled from the wnion.
